Alun is blind. He was found wandering in a park.
A kind stranger found him and brought him to the Orphanage.
His blindness is caused by cataracts in both eyes.
His other senses are well developed and he can navi- gate his space without problems.
Cataract surgery in rabbits is rare with unknown re- sults.
Alun has been placed in a loving home where he is safe and cared for. He remains under the vet care of the Orphanage.
About Bunny Sponsorship
Providing the gift of life costs the Orphanage $100,000 a year in vet care. Amputations, dental and eye removals are common in rabbits. All mainstream rescues, shelters and pounds send their animals to the Orphanage. We receive no funding and provide an option to euthanasia for these vulnerable creatures. Your gift of life will assist us to continue our work.
You will receive links to download a Certificate of Appreciation in the Thank You page of the Checkout, along with an emailed link that will last for 30 days.
